Kaleidoscope
Description
Made this for a friend's birthday, it's on the printer right now. It's 3 pieces for the actual Kaleidoscope. You will need mirrors or mirrored paper on the inside. In case you haven't made one or need a refresher I used this video as a guideline. https://tinyurl.com/2egburok I'm printing 5 end caps, one to leave clear, and 4 to fill and decorate. Print as many of those as you like. The End Cap should rotate within the body. I'm about to find out myself. The waves on the out side are directional so you can refer to the illustration for assembly. For the plastic lenses, I'm just using thin transparent stuff I already have but to-go container lid or anything else should do. Will post my make once it's done. 1- Body (Print in a dark color or blackout the inside) 1- End Cap 1- Eye Piece (Same as body) The End Cap (the piece you fill and decorate) has two inset surfaces, 52mm and 54.5mm, I made to blanks to make cutting out the plastic easier.
