British/European 86mm / 146mm switch plate cover for home automation remotes
Description
This is a two-piece cover for a single (86mm) or double (146mm) British/European switch plate. It hides the physical light switch and allows wireless home automation remotes to be stuck on over it but it easily removed if access to the physical switch is required. Internal clearance for switch height is 13mm. The base plate is clamped to the wall using the switch body. There is a split in the lower edge so it can be slipped over the wires without having to unwire the switch. The lid presses on and is held in place by 4 latches. To remove it, pull the front of the cover away from the wall.
