Extruder Filament Guide and Filter for Ender 3 Pro
Description
__This mod has been made exclusively for the Creality Ender 3 Pro printer.__ Since I couldn't find any filament guides that would also have a proper dust filter, I made one myself. All filters I had tried introduced a lot of friction due to the angle the filament was going in, and all the guides lacked a filter. Some almost worked, but usually, the dimensions weren't quite right, or the part was wobbly. This version attempts to solve all the listed problems. This guide feeds the filament at a natural angle to the filter, and the filter houses a sponge that clears any dust from the filament. The cleaned filament is then passed straight into the filament feeder. Inside the "models" folder, you will find two base models, a hollow one and one which is not. Functionally they are the same, but the hollow one might take less time and use less material. __Dust can build up on your filament, and if fed into the heater block, it might create gas pockets as it burns up and/or clog the nozzle and cause extrusion issues, messing up your prints as it did to mine.__ If you have extrusion issues and want to install this mod to help the filament stay clean, I would also recommend changing/cleaning the nozzle and the Bowden tube; otherwise, you might be disappointed. This mod is meant to prevent these issues, not fix them. I chose the roller mechanism from Tomaskom_cz and the side mount dimensions from PrintsLeo3D. They have excellent (in my opinion) tolerances that work well with my printer.
