ChopSticks frame, Mobula7 conversion

ChopSticks frame, Mobula7 conversion

Description

Immediately fell in love with the idea of using carbon rods, but the original design didn't have 0802 compatible mounts, and the existing remix was a bit too chunky. This remix is aimed to serve as a conversion kit for Mobula7, or any other build that uses X12 AIO. Changes: I remade the way that FC is mounted so that it uses less filament, as well as made options with 2, 3 and 4 mounting holes. In each case there should be enough space to plug in the usb cable if you're using X12 AIO. The middle of the center piece was also cut out to save weight. There are also printed standoffs for M2 screws if you're using Mobula7 parts. Motor mounts were completely remodeled to weight less and accommodate 0802/1002 motors, and have an option for side braces, although it seems that even without them the frame is sufficiently rigid. For 90mm motor distance, the rod lengths are 41.6mm and 38.5mm for arms, and ~62-63mm for side braces if you choose to use them. Without side braces and with only 2xM2x15mm screws, without battery the weight amounts to 26g, just 2g more than stock Mob7. For print settings, I didn't use infill but instead increased bottom/top layer count to max so that the whole part is filled. Edit 9/14/22: Thickened the wall near one of the screw holes on the motor mount, previous iteration cracked too easily in that spot.
