Bambu Lab X1 Filament Purge Test for AMS
Description
This is a test print containing only one filament swap designed for determining the optimal purge values for the Bambu Lab X1 printer when using the AMS. It is designed to be printed with the standard .4mm/.2mm profile. To use this print you must first set your filament purge values to zero in the Bambu Slicer. The print is sized such that it will print exactly 500mm3 of filament over the next 25mm in height, as well as a snap off ruler to measure with. You print this test object and measure the height at which the filament is fully purged and use that number in your filament purge chart. You can arrange up to 12x on the X1's bed at a time if you arrange them 3 across and 4 deep, making sure to turn on the sequential print option to know how far apart from each other they need to be. The X1 prints from front left to back right, going across first then back. So set up the filament swaps in the following sequence: 1/2 (filament 1 as the base, filament 2 as the tower and ruler, swap happens at layer 8), 2/3, 3/4, 4/1 (second row, left side), 1/3, 3/1, 1/4, 4/2, 2/4, 4/3, 3/2, 2/1.
