BLTouch Mount for FlexionHT on R2X 14T mod for MakerBot Replicator 2X
Description
If you have a FlexionHT on your Replicator 2X such as using the R2X 14T mod, this will allow you to mount a BLTouch (I use BLTouch Smart V3.1). Differences in Poikilos Remix: - It is designed for the FlexionHT but may work on stock hardware (may require cutting). - You can mount it with screws from the top and/or sides for optimal stability. - The FlexionHT can be oriented in 2 ways, so thats why there are 4 countersunk shank holes in mine. Even if you have the stock cooling block, you could drill with a 2.5mm drill bit then tap it with an M3 tap for 1 or both holes, but in that case, use the set of holes that do not intersect the motor mount screw shafts! - For extra stability, it also clips to the bottom of the carriage. You can cut that part off if you have aluma-carriage (unless it fits--comment if you can test if you have that carriage). Requires: - (2) countersunk M3 close to 1/4" long (about 5.82mm) such as computer screws (countersunk screws include the head in the length measurement). - alternatively you can use a screw on top, but the screw head gets in the way of the cleaning wheel brush.
