Parametric Tray with Simple Latch Lid
Description
___ ###Parametric Tray with Simple Latch Lid ##Customizable Tray and Snap-On Lid ##G. A. Tielke, September 2022 ___ Creates 3d-printable tray, and separate snap-on lid. The size and other settings are parameters that can be set by the user. This design was initially inspired by: >Small stuff organizer - screws, nuts, fastener 1.4 >by Zvedak July 14, 2021 >https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4908289 LID: Optionally, a Lid can be printed. It will have horizontal bars on the inside to fit into matching indentations on the tray. Note: Even if you do not select a lid, the lid settings will affect the tray itself. DIVIDERS: Dividers can be in two directions: -Column "C" dividers: Specifying these will add dividers going in the Y axis direction, creating separate areas to the left & right of the divider. The starting percents are as a percentage of the entire tray length. They each have a length as a percentage of the entire tray width. -Row "R" dividers: Specifying these will add dividers going in the X axis direction, creating separate areas to the front & rear of the divider. The starting percents are as a percentage of the entire tray width. They each have a length as a percentage of the entire tray length. LABELS: Text labels can also be printed in two directions: COLUMN labels print across the front face of the tray, centered on each Column. ROW labels print across the right side of the tray, centered on each Row. Labels can be printed horizontally or rotated 90 degrees vertically. Because having "n" dividers creates "n+1" sections to the tray, there can be one more Column label than Column dividers. Similarly there can be one more Row label than Row dividers. SLICING: These are the settings that I used: PLA+ at 220 degrees C, print bed at 60 degrees C. Layer Height=0.2 (can use 0.12 for better quality) Speed=50 (use slower for better quality) Infill=20% (use higher for more strength) Supports: None Adhesion: None
