Biqu B1 Creality MK8 Hotend Mount
Description
This is an Creality MK8 Hotend mount for the Biqu B1. I didn't like the stock hotend on the B1, had an old MK8 hotend from an Ender 5 Plus laying around, and so I made a simple mount for it. I re-used the thermistor and heater cartridge from the B1 so I wouldn't have to modify anything else beyond a PID calibration. Everything tucks away just like stock. This mount requires the use of 6 M3x4.0mm, OD4.6mm Threaded inserts. I also recommend using washers when attaching the hotend to the mounting bracket. Print with 3 or more walls/perimeters for the threaded inserts and at least 30% infill for rigidity.
