Steamdeck Dock & USB hub housing
Description
This is a dock for the Valve Steamdeck, and can house a USB hub, specifically this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WPTG7NX the "Hiearcool USB C hub". The opening prints out to ~10.6mm x 31.6mm & 115mm long, so any hub that fits the opening will work. A couple of pieces of 2 sided tape, as shown in one pic, will keep the hub in place. The hub slides into the dock from the side/end, not the top. A 90 degree USB C adapter is required, because the wire is a bit short for plugging directly, it would put too much pressure on the Steamdeck's USB slot. I'm using this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9T7X22Z . The dock's body is printed in PLA at .24, with SUPPORT. and the snap on top is printed in PLA at .24 without support. There are 2 versions of the top, one can be used as a vented top, the other is made for easy painting. I'm using a adhesive velcro strips as soft lining.
