Propel Endeavor 2 Flex Fix
Description
# Purpose The Propel Endeavor and Endeavor 2 are great skateboards, but there's something weird about the bushings in the trucks. As you add progressively more weight to one side of the board, you get progressively more tilt - up to a point. Somewhere around 75%, the bushings suddenly get soft and the board kinda flops over. It's only a problem a low speeds, but it is a little bit annoying. The problem is that the 'legs' of the bushing buckle sideways. This little bit of plastic prevents the legs from buckling, so you get a more linear feel all the way from center to full tilt. # Installation With the Endeavor 2, you just remove the badge plate (which the bushing is attached to) and press this into the gap between the legs of the bushing. You'll notice a beveled edge on one side of the hole in the bushing, and a flared edge on the printed part - together, they keep the printed part in place when the bushing and badge plate are installed. I suspect that this will also work in the Endeavor 1, however I don't have one to test with. If you have one, please give it a try and let me know how it goes. # Notes My first attempt was much too wide, and there's a fair chance that an even narrower version would be better, but I'm pretty happy with what you see here. This was created in OpenScad, and I've declared some variables at the top of the file for people who would like to experiment further. You might notice that in the .scad file the "width" value can be used to make the part bulge in the middle. That turned out to be unnecessary - I recommend keeping the width small enough to be irrelevant.
