50ml Centrifuge bottle holders
Description
2 Files - 6 bottle holder and one single bottle holder .stl files. I needed something to hold some 50ml centrifuge containers since they have a conical end and won't stand on their own. There are some other stands I found online and printed, but I wanted something with a tighter fit than what I could find to print. I also wanted to make sure there was more space between the bottle caps when in the stand, others I've seen have a closer together fit. So I designed this thing. It's strong even at just 20 percent infill. Yep, it'll take a while to print. I think it was about 9 hours..... I would suggest a plug-in called Arc Welder for Octoprint if anyone is running octoprint - it helps in compressing gcode sizes. I haven't had issues when using it. Just a suggestion. This is also designed with an open bottom to allow liquids to escape in the event of a spill... The centrifuge bottles/containers (whatever they are called) "never" go all the way through the bottom of the holder. There is a ring inside so that this doesn't happen. Others I've printed have an open bottom and bottles slide through to the table to some degree and wobble around when in the holder... You can move the whole rack when populated without issue. Any questions, ask. Hopefully someone finds it's useful.
