RC Servo Dropper

RC Servo Dropper

Description

One thing I do love about this design is that you can choose between servo screws, or metric bolts and nuts to fasten the servo, as I left plenty of space for a nut on the bottom side of the servo mounting arms. Also mounts to any platform using a 3 hole mounting pattern, with M2 being default size. You can always drill the holes out to fit larger M2.5 or even M3 hardware- I personally am using M2.5. You may have to bore out the holes where the servo rod goes, depending on the size of the servo rod you use. I left them small so you can always size up if needed. Any standard 9 gram servo will do for this. I have dropped acorn squash weighing ~20oz using this design and it had no issues, I would imagine it could handle much more even. Enjoy and please be safe with this! Use at your own risk!
