Braun KM32 Helical Gear
Description
After more than 30 years, the helical gear in the motor arm of my Braun KM32 had become brittle and left the machine inoperable. I printed this design in PETG and it is working flawlessly for about two years now. The pictures of the open motor arm show the gear during inspection after one year of use. I could not find any wear or tear on the part. Be careful when opening the motor arm. It is filled with oil. This can easily be replaced with any sewing machine household oil at hand.
