Eflite Opterra 2m adjustable battery tray
Description
I liked the design but did not like the idea of gluing it into place because I have several different sized batteries I like to use and the CG on this plane is so sensitive to battery placement. That's why I remixed this design to be adjustable. I remade the sled to have more solid guides with guide rails that align to the slide rails. This way, you can slide the battery where you need to, depending on the size of your battery. With the straps inserted through the battery sled, The sled stays in place well and takes a little force to slide it....exactly what you want so your battery does not move during flight. I already have a couple ideas to made this better, this is a work in progress but I have printed and used this for myself and it's working great so far.
