Toothed Y-Idler for Ender 2 Pro
Description
Long movements of the print bed on the Y-axis make noises, caused by teeth of the toothed belt rubbing against the Y-profile. That's why I designed a slightly larger idler for the Y-axis toothed belt, and since I was already at it, I gave it teeth right away. In Cura it is best printed with a line width of 0.53 mm and a layer height of 0.1 mm, which also works with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Wall Line Count: 1 mm, no infill. The Z-seam should be on the tip of a tooth and can then later be smoothed out with a file or knife if it protrudes a little. Since Cura 5.x is not able to properly place the Z-seam until now, I recommend Cura 4.x for slicing. PETG was used as the material, the printing needs a well-calibrated device. In addition, 2 ball bearings with an outer diameter of 12 mm, an inner diameter of 8 mm and a height of 3.5 mm are required. The grinding noise is gone now...
