Arrow Antenna Holder
Description
I wanted something simple to keep all the parts of my Arrow antenna together. I was shooting for something that would keep all the parts in a cylindrical shape without anything protruding so it could fit in a PVC tube for storage/transport. This is the first iteration, but I've got ideas in mind for V2 (I'm also open to suggestions!). To assemble, you'll need two copies of the printed STL and 2 M4 set screws. As an alternative to the set screws, you can wrap electrical tape around the boom pieces where you want the printed parts to be and friction fit them on. The square holes are off-centered to account for the foam grip, so that boom piece should go in the more centered hole. Additionally, you'll want to ensure the mount pieces are oriented the same direction for assembly (when the two boom pieces are mounted together, you should be able to look down the length of it and have all the holes line up). Pieces are mounted by screwing the 70cm elements together and clipping in, while the 2M elements are mounted individually. Start with the driven element for each band. The 70cm driven element should go in one of the holes to allow the feed point to lie roughly flat against the booms. The 2M driven element should go 2 holes away from the curved hole such that it can be rotated and the gamma match will slide into the curved hole. This will allow all the other elements to be clipped in without much protrusion. See pictures for more details. -73
