Home Theater Optical Cable male to male adapter junction. Not sure if this will be helpful to someone other than me but it was fun to make. A 1h project on a sunday night. I got a new TV and my optical cable was too short and I had 2 of them. Stores were closed....It was faster to design this adapter to join 2 cables than to wait the next to get a longer cable. Cheaper as well! Notes : The screws on the picture are M3 because McMaster-Carr don't have M2 screws which the adapter was designed for. 2 M2 screws and 2 M2 nuts are needed but I guess it could easilly be glued with epoxy as well. It was designe in two parts to make it easier to print without supports. The 2 holding screws are really M3 and were manually pierced and tapped after the print. I thoght it looked better than to use electrical tape like I had planned to.
