Voron Bird of Prey Ender3v2 E2dv6
Description
UPDATED, i added a connector cover which still had a bolt present and now i have corrected my mistake. Originally i downloaded the Voron Afterburner with BMG for the Ender 3 by igalopaka. Mostly this is just Voron parts available from the Voron Github I hunted down a motor plate for the Ender 3 v2 but replaced it with a remix Motor Plate by Jonatanrullman. After printing out the majority of the parts it became apparent there were fitting issues with most of the parts. The motor plate which had been modified as some of the mounting hole were out of alignment, were in fact out of alignment for my printer. My guess is this is down to cheap manufacturing rather than the 3d part. The parts use heatserts fixings to hold certain parts securely and allow for stripping without the threads doing the same. Unfortunately, all these holes were excessively oversized allowing the inserts to be pulled out when tightening fixings. I have modified almost all the parts in this hotend and also the motor plate. also i have added the WARBIRD fan duct by Greg191134, this has also been modified some. The other parts are modified parts from the Loud Owl AKA stabby by Baltojikale. i Have added some of my own parts into the mix as well. The Motor plate is for the Ender3 v2, i have moved the bolt hole mid left and added a hole far left. The two holes that slot over the threaded pegs right mid have been opened by .2 to better fit the pegs. All the holes that are supposed to take M3 Heat inserts have been down sized from 4.8mm to 4mm to correctly fit the m3 inserts from amazon. The hole for the extruder gear bearing is opened up to 8mm as my bearing wouldn't fit. The right side features two insert holes to hold touch sensor mounts for better adjustment. The Latch Shuttle has had its insert hole downsized to 4mm from 4.8mm The Extruder body has had an extra hole added to allow fitting to the fan case to be better. The bolt bottom left where the fan case attaches has had prevision for an m3 nut to replace the heat insert that wouldn't hold. The Loud Owl Fan Case has been modified to take an extra M3 bolt to attach it to the extruder body. There is an included mount that fit on the part fan cover mounting bolts to hold an ADXL345 I have included mounts for both BLTouch and PINDA sensors. The Warbird duct has been swapped for the standard Voron duct as the voron duct is very obstructive when trying to see the nozzle. This duct has been modified, the holes that attach the warbird fan cover have been reduced to 4mm as well as being thickened to take a heat insert. The Voron connector cover neatens things up but with the harness coming straight out the back risks damage when the X carriage is fully to the right. I have added 2 covers, 1 has a cut out for top exit, the other has top exit and guide. There is also a cable tidy mount that utilizes the old extruder mounting location to hold the loom. I printed the motor plate, extruder body, Hotend fan cover, latch, shuttle, e3d v6 rear carrier and guidler without support motor plate, extruder and e3d carrier flat to the bed left to right and the latch, shuttle and guidler on their sides make sure the guidler is on its flat side. The part fan casing was flat with support, the part fan cover was face up with conical support, Bl Touch mount was flat along the screw slot with normal touching build plate support under the mounting head
