STEM CATAPULT
Description
Instructions: 1) Download and 3D Print model from: 2) Cut Thick Solid Cardboard Stock larger (½”+) than Cutout Above (Cereal Boxes, Shoe Boxes, etc. Do not use corrugated cardboard) 3) Apply Glue stick to back of paper past cut out lines (½”+) 4) Align and press paper to cardboard. Start in the center and push out any wrinkles 5) Allow Glue to dry (15-30 minutes) 6) Cut around black outside lines 7) Name the Catapult Add Students Name 8) Heat up hot glue gun and apply hot glue to the backside hole on the catapult. 9) Align catapult to Front and Bottom Edges and press down for 20 seconds 10) If Cardboard is below the Catapult, allow an adult to cut the excess with a knife 11) With a Pen draw the resting line of the arm 12) With two people pull back the arm to the dots (•) and draw 8 more lines 13) Optional, wrap tape over leading 45° edge of paper 14) Load with Ping pong or Paper ball, Pull Back, Launch and Enjoy
