Adapter 3M Filter to Half Mask Respirator Exit Port
Description
I started chemo last year, so my immune system is depressed. So I got a lightweight P100 halfmask, it doesn't weigh down and pinch my nose shut like the full size ones do. I had inserted an exit filter internally, but you can't see it so the treatment center's policy of "no exit valves" meant I could not wear it during treatments. So I designed this to hold another P100 exit valve, 3M bayonet. Now there is no problem wearing it, except I get some stares and a fair number of people hopefully asking me if I do drywall. Apparently there is a shortage.
