GEEETech MK8 Printhead Fan Shroud (compact)

Description

This Is A Compact Cooling Shroud Built For The Geeetech Mk8 Extruder/Printhead - For Me It'S On An Acrylic Prusa I3B. The Shroud Wraps Around The Aluminum Cooling Heatsink Which On My Printer Has The Cooling Fins In A Vertical Orientation. I Used Sketchup To Design The Simple Surround And Ducting To Direct Air Out Of The Bottom Of The Fan/Heatsink And Down To The Front And Back Of The Printhead For Cooling The Print Quite Well. I Added A Thicker 20Mm Thick 40X40 Fan For More Airflow/Pressure And Sealed It Using Aluminum Tape. Result: Airflow Is Actually Surprisingly Good And Directed Exactly On Print Extrusion Area . . . And I Don'T Need A "Flying Fan" Attachment.
