LEGO Saturn V Rocket Wall Mount
Description
I wanted to Wall mount my LEGO Saturn V Rocket to the wall, so I ended up designing these mounts for it. I essentially took measurements of the LEGO mounts you're supposed to build in the model's manual and converted it to wall-mount design, worked out really well. For a future improvement, I misjudged how much the nose of the rocket is elevated and I ended up taking incorrect measurements for the original stand so I had to offset it a little, but in my opinion it still looks good. I was first concerned with the rigidity of the parts and the potential for the material sagging and breaking over time but I'm not sure if that will even happen, but if you'd like to experiment with materials other than PLA go right ahead.
