Tap Handle for Homebrew

Tap Handle for Homebrew

Description

I Designed This Handle In Solidworks 2014. The Font Used Is Called "Brothers" And Is The Font Used By Ballast Point Brewery. I Think It'S A Really Sexy Font. The Handle Features A 3/8"-16 Brass Threaded Insert Where It Threads Onto The Tap. The Insert Was Actually Designed For Wood (Oops) And Doesn'T Thread Into Plastic Very Well. I Tried Heating It Up, No Dice. I Ended Up Just Making The Hole It Threads Into Only About .010" Smaller Than The Major Diameter Of The Threads. Very Little Thread Engagement, But It'S Not Exactly A High-Risk Application. The Handle Is Printed In Black Pla With .2Mm Layer Height, 30% Infill. It Was Printed On My Printrbot Simple Metal. Took About 3 Hours To Print, If I Recall Correctly. The Exact Threaded Inserts Can Be Found On Mcmaster.Com (What Can'T Be?)
