Ring Splint
Description
This is a ring splint model for people with arthritis. I developed this model for a friend to wear on her thumb. Dimensions are not perfect for her finger, but they are close. I have made several different iterations to try and get the perfect fit. I have heard that it is smart to print multiples of these 1 or 2 half-sizes up from your typical size in case of inflammation. I included a picture of diameter in mm by US ring size for reference. To change the model dimensions, simply edit the global variables from the equations tool in Solidworks.
