EUCzeroBottomout - Begode Master
Description
The Begode Master is infamous for bottoming out very easily. One fix is to change the whole suspension linkage as well as the shock itself. A very expensive mod. This mod is almost free if you have access to a 3d printer and 30g TPU95A. The linkage on the Master is tested to be very linear. Airshocks itself are known to be progressiv, and this would compensate for the linkage. But Begode chose to only use the first 24mm of the 70mm long travel shock. So int only use the linear range of the shock. Reducing the volume of the main chamber would make it more progressive. This is a knows way to mod airshocks. So it is not something new. But finding a volume reducer made for this shock is probably not easy, so I designed one myself. 27milli litre worked very good for me. And I think it will work for most. Print in TPU95A, as TPU can take the oil that is in the shock. It most also be a bit flexible to mount. Print in 100% infill. No air pockets. Pressure inside the shock will rapidly change when used. It is easy to install. But a little fiddly to uninstall. To help with that I designed some holes for better grip pulling it out. A better video on how to install it will come. But so far, check the instagram video when I mount one of the prototypes. https://www.instagram.com/p/ClCY4jkMzla/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
