Router base for Foredom / Flex Shaft Hand Piece
Description
This is a router base that I made for the Foredom Compatible hand piece that I included a picture of. They can be found on Amazon or Ebay easily and relatively inexpensively. I wanted a trim router for freehand detail work and since I already have a Foredom Flex Shaft Machine, adapting a hand piece made more sense than buying something new. This is the first version in the future I may update this one to sit slightly higher 5-8mm for better bit clearance. Currently my favorite bits sits a little too proud and doesn't cut as quickly as it could. You will also need a pipe clamp / worm clamp for the hand piece. The diameter of my hand piece is 35mm but the whole thing could be sized down to work with other hand pieces
