Magnetic Hook Rail
Description
Magnetic Hook Rail =============== I created this hook bar to put on our cooking aprons in the kichen. With it's 8 small magnets we can attach it to the fridge and it perfectly holds our two aprons. You can use it for hand towels or dishtowels too if your magnets are strong enough. Assembly ------------ There are 8 holes on the back of the ground plate where the magnets should be pressed in. In my case they had a nice tight fit and I didn't need to glue them. I used these [magnets](https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07PNG6MSP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which I bought on Amazon. They have a diameter of 6 mm and a thickness of 3 mm. Dimensions --------------- - Length: 90 mm - Width: 25.5 mm - Height: 30 mm - Thickness of the ground plate: 7 mm - Cross section of each hook: 10 mm x 5 mm - Magnet slot diameter: 6.3 mm - Magnet slot depth: 3.3mm Print Settings ----------------- I used FormFutura "Tough PLA" with a infill of 30%. I configured the wall-thickness to be 1.2 mm. Supports aren't needed.
