Ender 6 BigTreeTech Octopus Mount and Driver cooling Duct
Description
Remixed from xavierI3's BTT to Ender 6 adapter mount, some revisions have been made to improve printing speeds, ducting, and cable management. Print at .15 or better layer height, 25% infill in PLA or PETG. Supports needed for the cooling duct. All screw hardware is M3 in varying lengths, and should direct thread into the plastic. STL and 3MF included, along with Step file. Changes from original: <p>Cable management on the fan/endstop edge of the board. Accepts zip ties up to 5mm wide.</p> <p>Power cable clamping on the Z-stepper end of the board will clamp power wires in place to prevent accidental stressing of the power wires when servicing the unit.</p> <p>Larger standoff bosses for the Octopus mounting holes, and removal of inset nut on the back. Screws will thread direct into the plastic. 6mm M3 work here.</p> <p>Updated cooling duct design now directly mounts to the adapter with 2x M3x6 or M3x8mm screws. Alignment pins will help guide the duct into place over the stepper driver heatsinks. Cable clearances for the stepper connectors are designed in.
