Improved 28byj-48/Nema17 peristaltic pump
Description
(2/15/18) I Have Uploaded The Sketchup File Used For This Model. It Is A Complete Mess Of A Work Space That I Haven'T Visited In Years. I Have Also Uploaded A Nema17 Version Of The Pump That Uses A Larger Hose. The Nema Version Can Really Rip. (Https://Www.Amazon.Com/Gp/Product/B000Fn1Fla/Ref=Oh_Aui_Search_Detailpage?Ie=Utf8&Psc=1) This Is The Final Result After Testing And Tweaking My Original Peristaltic Pump(Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:664381). This Final Version Is Self Priming And Has Enough Pressure To Gain At Least 6' Elevation( I Ran Out Of Hose). There Are A Couple Choices As Far As The Pump Body Is Concerned, Vented Or Solid Motor Housing And A Base That Either Holds An Arduino Uno Or An Adafruit Perma-Proto Quarter-Sized Breadboard Pcb (Https://Www.Adafruit.Com/Products/589) The Biggest Change In Hardware Was The Addition Of One 608 Bearing For A Total Of 4 And Two Lock-Nuts On The Rotor To Keep Things In Place. I'M Using A 5V 28Byj-48, The Uln2003 Driver Board That It Came With And Powering It Through An Arduino. (Http://Www.Amazon.Com/Gp/Product/B0089Jv2Om/Ref=Oh_Aui_Detailpage_O09_S00?Ie=Utf8&Psc=1). I Designed The Pump Around 1/16" I.D. X 1/8" O.D. Silicone Tubing (Http://Www.Amazon.Com/Gp/Product/B00G9C9H20/Ref=Oh_Aui_Detailpage_O03_S00?Ie=Utf8&Psc=1). You Will Also Need 4 608 Bearings, Two 6-8Mm M3 Bolts & Nuts To Attach Motor, Two M3 28Mm Bolts & Nuts To Attach The Rotor Case Cap ,Two 6Mm M3 Bolts & Nuts To Attach The Motor Housing To The Base, Attachment Points For The Driver Board And Microcontroler Are All M3 As Well, Glue To Attach The Rotorcap And A Microcontroller. I'M Currently Using The Pump With An Arduino Uno To Take Sail Moisture Reading, Record Them And Water When Necessary.
