Description

!! -- IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU START -- !! 1: this is for the JUICED SQUEEZE, not the perfect Squeeze you want the one with the WIRELESS charger, the normal 'Perfect Squeeze' dose not have the required extra bolt holes we need. 2: make sure your rubber posts are in the same place as in the picture, if not, this wont work for you, your options are either modify it using the .SLDPRT file I've included or move your rubber posts to the same place if your phone/buttons allow 3: required USB cables https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08CR7W2T1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to see if yours will fit, measure the widest part with calipers, you want no more than 12mm, otherwise happy to get creative with a file, or if you have access to Solid works, I've included the SLDPRT file so that if you cant find the same USB cable as me, you can edit the hole to be what ever size you need. 4: I'm still learning Solid works, and as a unfortunate side effect the part is not in the correct print orientation. you will have to change its orientation as you see fit, my recommendation would be placing the -- NOW FOR THE FUN STUFF. -- I spend a LOT of time on my motorcycle, and one of the most annoying things I find is trying to come up with a way to fast charge with a USB cable when i want or need to but also not have to constantly be thinking about, 'what if it rains' Well have no fear! after 2 entirely different versions and more iterations that i can bear to admit I've finally found my combination, and feel I'm ready to share with everyone. the very nature of how this works is pretty simple, you hide your power delivery Charging plug or your socket how ever you see fit just make sure that its 100% waterproof, run your cable how to your handle bars, being sure to make sure you test handling along every step of the way to be sure that you are not snagging the cable causing premature death of said cable, or making it dangerous to ride. Follow existing cable runs use lots of cable ties and keep it tidy! and most importantly don't over tighten said cable ties, you will either damage your USB cable or worse, damage your wring harness. once your happy with this outcome, bolt the cable nook on to the side of the juiced Squeeze, find the little nook in question, that just so happens to be the right size to put your cable in to (SEE LINK at bottom for cable used) and with a little twist, stays firmly in place. so, if it starts to rain, you can fairly easily stowe it away with one hand without to much fuss. .. You suddenly realize the wireless charging isn't doing it for you, and you MUST arrive at your target destination at 100% battery then just pull out the USB cable from its cozy little nook and plug it in. -- IS IT WATERPROOF?? -- No its not, no seals and no grommets, the only thing keeping water out is gravity, so bear this in mind! make sure the nook faces down and slightly towards you, if it starts raining, Stop charging and stowe away the cable as its now time to charge wirelessly. that said, I have been running this version of "gravity nook" for almost 2 years now and yet to replace a cable due to water damage, and to put that in to perspective, I park my motorcycle on my drive, in all weathers, and also ride is all weathers, summer and winter.
