Tiny Whoop FX797T and VA1100 Camera Housing Minimalistic
Description
****Updated Version Weighs Only 0.4 Grams!**** Va1100Housingminimal1.1.Stl Weighs ~0.4G (Pla, 20% Infill) And Offers Minimal Protection. If This One Is Too Fragile For Your Taste, Va1100Housingv1.1.Stl Offers A Bit More Protection At About ~0.5-0.6G. For Maximum Protection, Please See Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:807637. Add As Many Thin Strips Of Double-Sided Tape As Needed To The Bottom Front To Increase The Camera Angle To Suit Your Kit'S Setup For Fpv Racing. Pictured Is Pfg 110Mm Cf Frame For 7Mm Motors With Accessory Plate Using Blade Nano Qx Fpv Flight Controller, Stock Hubsan X4 H107L 7Mm Motors (Have Some Mmw Cl-0720-12 Motors, But This Thing Smokes As Is So I'M Waiting Until The Stock Motors Fail Before Getting Bold Enough To Try The Mmws), And Parrot Minidrone Rolling Spider Props (Stock Hubsan Props Used In Some Photos, But These Feel Quite Sluggish Compared To The Parrots). As I Have A Blade Nano Qx Fpv That Comes With The Va1100 Spektrum Ultra Micro Camera And Am Variously Building And Flying Other Micro Quads That I Want To Use The Va100 On, I Needed A Housing Option To Help Protect The Camera And To Place Double-Sided Tape On To Make The Va1100 Interchangeable On The Fly. Designed A Bit Loose To Allow For Double-Sided Tape To Prevent Jello Should You Have Any. I'Ve Not Had Jello Issues, But You May. I Use Loom Rubber Bands From Walmart That Weigh Next To Nothing To Secure The Camera. I Made It A Bit Larger Than The Va1100 Because I Have A Blob Of 5-Minute Epoxy On My Connections To Prevent Them From Coming Loose. You May Wish To Scale It Down By 2-5% To Ensure A Snug Fit If That'S Your Thing. Be Aware The Power Cables From The Vtx Are Quite Fragile, So Don'T Scale It Down Unless You'Re Sure You'Re Comfortable With Soldering. Works Fine With Antenna Savers.
