Sofle Choc magnetic low profile case
Description
This is my attempt on a case for the Sofle Choc v2 keyboard by Josef Adamcik/Brian Low. I use the v2.2 Version from 42. keebs with an added power switch, but it should really work on any v2 revision. I tried to keep the case as flat as possible. It measures roughly 16mm from the table to the top of the keycaps including the little spacer/feet (I think the technical term is "Nubsis"). The board is fixed to the case via 5 M2x3mmx3mm threaded screw inserts. They can bepushed into the holes by applying some heat with a soldering iron. Additionally, the design leaves some room for 4 10mm magnets that I use to attach the two halves for transportation. Shopping List: - 2x5 M2x3mmx3mm threaded screw inserts (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B09QVFQLQ9) - 2x4 10mm Magnets (https://www.amazon.de/Magnetastico-Selbstklebende-Klebemagnete-Marken-Klebeband-Selbstklebend/dp/B01LX5CCQ6) - 2x4 4mm Nubsis (https://www.amazon.de/haggiy-Elastikpuffer-Transparent-Selbstklebend-St%C3%A4rke/dp/B009TODKEG) The design took a lot of inspiration from the magnetic Crkb travel case by taksi_kavausuki (https://www.printables.com/de/model/117598-travel-crkbd-magnetic-case). I took the idea to include threaded screws from FlatFootFox's remix of another sofle case: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5443846
