Description
This Is The Ultimate Filament Carrier For Your Xyz Davinci Printer. The Base Plate Snaps Directly In Plate Of Your Side Windows. The Spool Carrier Itself Is Mounted To The Plate With Two 1/2" X 1-1/8" Ball Bearings On A 1/2 X 4.5" Bolt. The Spool Is Held On The Carrier With A Friction Plate, Spring To Adjust Friction, And 1/2" Nut (Wing Nut Suggested). This System Allows You To Precisely Set The Tension On The Filament Just Right So That The Printer Can Easily Feed It But It Does Not Come Unwound On The Spool All While Conveniently Placed On The Side Of Your Machine. This Carrier Was Designed Around A Makerbot Brand Filament Spool But Should Work With Most Others. Step File Is Included To Make Modifications.
