Ender3 Noctura adapter by FaTedev
Description
There are ample designs for a Noctura mod but I have a custom extruder mount and most seem over the top. This design takes advantage of the original metal shroud which is more stable and doesn't require replacing the entire head setup. To front mount a Noctura 40mm x 20mm on the front head cooling area you'll need to drill out the mount holes through the front, then you can use the original fan bolts but.. from the front instead. As for part cooling thats where most designs (imo) are way over the top. Crealitys already do the job but loud, so following that design I've created a 2 part mount that first screws into the original duct fan mounting points on the metal shroud. Then attached the nozzle to the bottom of the Noctura using the Noctura anti vibration cords. Finally use the supplied bolts to mount the Noctura fan to the first part mount. This angles the fan in the general right direction and the nozzle redirects that flow at the same angle the original duct fan blows.
