Description
This is a Work in progress remake (Currently incomplete), of the Picade-hat based 10" Bartop controls I did a while back. They have been cut from the Original project and will be turned into their own controller! It will be re-worked to be a screen-less unit, that will still carry Mini Computer or SoC, but will also be able to be set up as a stand alone MAME controller. In the next few days, I will flesh out a back panel, Locations for Pi, Odroid, and Other SoC boards, Wiring, Power, and likely built in sound. I plan to make this modular, and create different center modules for other control Types, such as... Arcade Spinner Sim Wheel Flight Yoke 3D Printed Pedals (Sim Racing, Flight, Mech Control) Additional buttons Universal Mount for 15" USBc Monitors on Back And may eventually attempt a Lightgun module (Setback center module with simple lightgun using accelerometer wired as screen mouse... Gonna take some work. Stay tuned!) And will likely rework the center modules to be Magnetically snapped into place for easy swapping. Electronics diagrams and detailed instructions will be included in the Final overview that I post here. Additionally, I plan to re-work the back panels to have several versions Flat, Cord exit holes only. No accessory use. Minimal Plastic. Flat center Panel, Stereo 4" Speaker mounts in L/R rear Panels (Bluetooth Amp Circuit internally mounted) Protruding center rear panel, made to custom fit a downfiring 4" Subwoofer, L/R rear panels will mount a 4" mid range driver (200 Watt Bluetooth Amplifier Built in) Travel Covers for Buttons, Jotstick, and Accessory Center Controllers for Easy Portability. Fold up Handle for quick Carry Internal cord and power supply storage Other features I am considering Table / Desk quick clamps Quad module Unit with Mech Control setup (Stick plus Throttle yoke, Pedals for Torso) Left and Right handed Modules Universal L/R modules for any configuration! The ULTIMATE Nerd Overnighter! I was hoping to finish in time for Xmas, but Its looking like I won't make it this year. But thats OK! This will be COMPLETED by next Xmas, and be an EXCELLENT gift or bring-along for next holiday season! This project is actively being worked on as of 12-14-22 and I will Draw until all desired modules and ideas are in final form. STAY TUNED! (P.S.
