Description
This wintery room decor piece includes a stack of snowflakes and delicate details. Perfect for the holiday season for both gifting others and brightening up your home! 1) For minimized bleeding of darker colours (such as dark blue and grey) into lighter colours, it is recommended that users set the variable transition lengths to strong and increase the “maximum transition length” (Project Settings>Transition>Variable Transition Lengths). A recommended “maximum transition length” for this print is 220 mm because colours such as white and clear are prone to bleeding. 2) It is recommended that users check the preview of the print to ensure that the details are nicely filled. If not filled in as desired, turning on ‘Gap fill’ may help (Project Settings>Extrusion>Gap fill>Turn On). 3) The clear portion of the model is made to resemble ice. To make the part thinner without having to scale the model, bring the model slightly below the build plate. When checking the preview, you can see how many layers are used for that portion (the more layers, the less translucent that part will be). 4) A solid one-piece version of the snowflake model has been included in order to allow Palette users to stamp on patterns or paint different faces of the shapes as desired using Canvas. 5) Scaling this model, whether uniformly or non-uniformly, is encouraged to create a variety of different snowflakes!
