Swing seat canopy adjuster
Description
A swing seat canopy adjuster I made for a friend. The original part broke for him, so I designed this one instead. The dimensions of the connecting faces are based on the original one, but the rest has been optimized for 3D printing. There are a couple of things that has to be done after printing the parts: Part1: - Remove the sacrificial layer from the screw holes. Their only purpose is to make this part printable without support. Part2: - Remove the small tabs on the outside under the edges with a blade. Their only purpose is to make this part printable without support. - Insert a "Sleeve Converter Nut" to the hole --> OD: 14mm, ID: 10mm, Length: 20mm max (e.g.: shorturl.at/iqOW8) - Note: The side holes that can be seen on the pictures have been removed from the design. They were not necessary, the piece was a tight fit in the swing seat frame anyways. Part3: - Remove the sacrificial layer from the screw hole. It's only purpose is to make this part printable without support. - Insert an M10x50 hex head screw (DIN 933) to the hole. It should be a press-fit. Feel free to remix this design, the STEP files are available in the downloads. I hope you like it!
