Prusa i3 MK3S+ Spool Holder
Description
This design has functioned well and is very light weight. I occasionally print 3kg spools but the safety bar bracket needs to be replaced with a "standard" LH Bracket. I recommend printing both LH brackets that way you can switch them out. I originally posted a "make" of the excellent re-mix by RocketSquid but have since posted this re-mix. The design was based on the DWONH design which was re-mixed by Olef. Olef's design allowed a spool to sit atop the MK3 . Re-Mix Credit to: 1) Universal Spool Roller by DWONH - Excellent design but I wanted it to mount atop the printer. 2) Prusa i3 Mk3 Roller Spool Holder by Olef - Excellent design but the filament guide hits the Extruder Carriage when you move to the Max Z-zxis height 3) Prusa i3 Mk3 Roller Spool Holder with Safety Bar by RocketSquid - Excellent design (and video) with safety bar but I wanted to incorporate a filament guide into the bracket to reduce parts and weight.
