Cartoon Eyeball 2 color

This project design was intended to add illuminated cartoon eyes on a Kigurumi onesie costume. This was early on in my Solidworks experience. I included the solidworks files for remixing. This thin walled 2 color print has 2 options, the revision 1 (prototype) is flangeless and the revision 2 is the flange mount (sewable). Revision 1 is pictured. My revision 2 example was attached to a costume that was sold. This project was my first 2 color print utilizing the Prusa MMU2 for automatic color changing. The Prusa Slic3r allows print pause color change feature for systems without the MMU hardware. I printed in Clear to act as a diffuser then changed to black filament to hide the battery pack. The lighting would best with a product like EL Fabric, but LEDS are what was available for free. The battery pack used is a 2 stacked coin cell with switch and leads available on amazon, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B8BBH54?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_sem_WEV5QHWMQ0NDCX9TPPA9 The LEDs are random scrap drawer parts. This was printed dome side up with support underneath. Infill is whatever you're comfortable with. Different diffuser looks with various lighting sources can be achieved by varying the infill density. A cool feature I wanted to add to revision 3 but haven't designed yet is a clear Pupil to give the option of light showing at the top of the dome. The battery pack might need to move for that depending on the lighting components used. Please remix and open source the world for innovation to thrive.
