This is an early Solidworks Design to create an enclosure and spool system for my office 3D printer from parts I could find in the maintenance shop at work. ABS printing likes a controlled environment. This works with 2020 vslot aluminium extrusion. How it works: -- Spool holders are designed to hold a standard skateboard bearing. My Prusa system donated the spool rollers to this design. -----single holder, print 2, install bearings- I used the Prusa tube and end caps between the bearings. -----modular double spool holder- print 2 of each, install rollers. -----Double one piece- this is for larger print beds- print 2 per spool. --Magnetic mount- Intended to hold thin material via two magnets (7/8" diameter x 1/4" thick) to create skins for an enclosure. We had an abundance of magnets at that job. print as many as needed. Press one magnet in the holder and use the other on the outside of the cover material. These also make wonderful fridge magnets. --Extrusion end mounts- these press on to the extrusion ends to mount or connect. The 3 way vslot extrusion mount file has been lost to time so please remix the 90 deg to create the 3 way.
