Samyang 135mm Lens Collar - Remixed
Description
Since lens collars for the Samyang/Rokinon 135mm f/2 lens are hard to come by I decided to look down the 3D printing route. I found a really clean looking design by SleeplessLights but didn't want the hassle of adding inserts, so I remixed it to use regular nuts instead. The screws I used have a countersink head so I also accommodated this. I also removed the attachment points on the sides as I don't plan to add anything to it except maybe a guide scope on top (I will redesign the top plate if I ever bother to do this) The only hardware required now are; 2x M3 x 12mm bolts + nuts (for the hinges on the rings) 4x M4 x 12mm bolts + nuts (for mounting the top plate) 2x M4 x 20mm bolts + nuts (for the locking the rings) 4x M5 x 20mm bolts + nuts (for mounting the bottom plate) 1mm thick single sided foam tape or similar to go on the inside of the rings (They are slightly oversized) I plan to make some changes soon, mainly to move the holes for the nuts on the top of the rings to the other side
