Poors man's soft plastic injector (16mm ID)
Description
I wanted to experiment with injected soft plastics but did not want to invest in an injector. The hole in the middle is 4.5mm and is meant for a 5mm threaded rod. You also need 4 or 5 o-rings, mine were a little larger than 16mm OD and 2mm thick, and had to file a bit for them to slip into the tube. (probably something with 15mm OD should work better) Found a metalic pipe with 16mm internal diameter, and printed 4 identical pieces. One is the mouth (leve as is, needs to be printed in ABS or something high temp), one is the piston (needs some way to attach i made a thread in it and screwed the rod in, needs to be printed in ABS or something high temp) , one is the sleeve for the other end of the injector (just enlarge the hole to 5mm, i used some random rubber band instead of the o-ring to fix it in ), and one should be the handle (mine failed to print correctly but i used it as it was, at full lenght probably needs to be threaded)
