Ikea Platsa Filament Spool Holder Mount
Description
This is the mount for my Universal Filament Spool Holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4666498) to the Ikea Platsa Box. The mount is fixed to the Ikea Platsa Box using four wood screws, it doesn't matter which ones you use, as long as they fit through the holes of the mount and screw into the box wood. The spool holder is mounted to the mount using the M8 threaded rod and two M8 nuts (see PDF sketch for more details) I printed it a long time ago, so I don’t recall the exact parameters, but I used PETG to better resist the temperature inside the cabin. Afther a few prints, the cabin doesn’t get hotter than 40ºC, so I’m quite sure PLA would work as well. Sorry for those who wanted this part a few years ago when I uploaded the spool holder, but I guess, late is better than never
