Cygolite Hotshot Mount
Description
DO Not print in the default loading orientation. Put one of the flat sides down on the bed. Lights are crucial for riding safety. I have several of these lights, but a bunch of bikes. This makes it easier to switch the taillight to any bike. This design is also a bit cleaner looking than the original mounting hardware. The one I remixed from worked great, I just needed it a bit lower to fit below a saddlebag on a particular bike, which meant mounting it on the frame rather than the 27.2mm Seatpost. Since I had to change it anyway, I got rid of the need for a ziptie. Nothing wrong with a ziptie, the O-Ring just looks a bit cleaner. My design requires removing the seatpost. The original just snaps in, zip-tie, then ride. Note: The O-Ring is really only needed if the fit isn't perfect. Eventually I'll post a few files without the O-Ring groove. On my printer, it required a few strokes with a needle file for the light to slide/fit perfect. All wall thicknesses are a multiple of .42. I recommend wall count of 5 infill of 0% and 5deg hotter than standard. The O-Ring groove needed supports (on my printer), but that was solved with a quick knife swipe. There are two files. One that fits a standard 27.2mm seatpost, and one that fits over my 30mm frame.
