CR-10 24V Conversion + All In One

CR-10 24V Conversion + All In One

Description

I'll be uploading the pieces as I finish the build, but this is my take on a 24V, Direct Drive, All in one CR-10. This is a work in progress - I don't have the cable management done yet. This is the first draft, as my CR-10 was broken, so this is how I got it back up and running using pieces I could print on an Ender 3. Now that it's working, there are still a lot of improvements I can make. I might even re-design it to not require the printer being raised 80mm. The main part of this upgrade is the "Creality Ender 3 / Pro / V2 Plug and Play 4inch Color Display Screen + v3.1 BL Touch + 4.2.7 32Bit Silent Board + Runout Sensor All-in-One Upgrade Kit for Auto-Bed Leveling + Improved UI on Stock Printer" kit from F1rst Layer. You'll need to build your own firmware to recognize the larger bed; I've included my config files for marlin in the file list. Additional parts needed for the 24V conversion are a Meanwell 24V power supply, 24V heated bed, and 24V hot end heater and probe. For the all in one conversion I remixed, you'll need four pieces of V-Slot 2020. You need two pieces of 500mm long and two pieces ~365mm long. I just bought four pieces of 500mm and cut two of them down. You'll also need a bunch of 3,4, and 5 mm screws and T nuts. I'll get an exact count when I'm done. The files I've printed from the linked remixes are : The four corner legs from StvPrtsn CR-10 All In One, used to give the printer ~80mm of height. The left hand mount for the V2 Screen (or get a longer ribbon cable) The 12V 80mm fan holder for the power supply. I'll be uploading these for now as part of this page, but eventually I will break these remixes out to other pages, as they apply to the Ender 3 also: The direct drive mount including CR-Touch and Cable Chain attachment The power supply holder, designer to mount on the right-rear rail upright. The main CR-10 specific piece is the mainboard case, designed to mount to the left rear frame rail on the outside of the rail. This is my first design I'm posting, so please be gentle.
