Fan Dipole Antenna Wire Spreader
Description
This is a wire spreader for making fan dipole antenna but could be used for making ladder line. I've used this as part of a fan dipole using the 40 / 20m kit from www.hfkits.com with the first spreader about 15cm from the centre and then at 50cm intervals to keep the wires a fixed distance apart. This is working with roughly 2mm OD wire. I've printed these in PLA and they're working well but haven't been up long. I suspect they will degrade over time and printing in ABS would be better. The face of the spreader includes the wire size 2mm and the width 10cm as well as my amateur radio callsign 2E1GLQ
