## **Xiaomi Mi Home Door and window sensor 2 distance adapter** Mi Home Door sensor 2 has two parts - the main unit with sensor, battery and electronics, and a smaller one, a magnetic trigger. One part should move with the door, the other one should be stationary. Parts expect to be aligned when the doors are closed, and in my case, that was simply not possible due to the door frame. I mounted the main unit on the door and needed the extension for the trigger to be mounted on the door frame. This model solves this issue but is very specific for my particular use case - a 20mm difference between the frame and the door. If it helps you print it with whatever settings suit you, the model is simple enough for almost any printer settings to work just fine. If it does not suit your use case, use it as an inspiration, or let me know, maybe I can modify it for you. ### Installation Use double-sided tape on both ends - one to hold the trigger to the adapter, the other to hold the whole thing to the door frame, or similar.
