20x4 LCD Case with Rotary and RJ45 for GOTEK
Description
20x4 LCD with Rotary and RJ45 case I designed to use with a GOTEK floppy disk emulator. I use the RJ45 jack to connect to the GOTEK for the LCD and the Rotary selector. This allows me to keep the display close while the vintage computer is further away with a standard CAT5 cable. 3D print settings Layer Height .2mm Speed : 80mm/s Nozzle Temp : 210 Bed Temp : 60 Infill : 25% Brim I used the below parts to put it together: 4 x 10mm M3x.5 stand-offs to mount the LCD onto the top/face of the case. 4 x 5mm M3x.5 screws (mounts the standoffs to the LCD mount holes 8 x 8mm M3x.5 screws (used to mount the LCD and the top of the case to the bottom.) 4 x knurled brass inserts - 4mm DIA by 3mm deep M3x.05 (goes into bottom case mount holes) 1 x RJ45 and breakout board from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HGS5G8N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Note: I had to trim the front side of the breakout board about 3/32 inches as I wanted it to fit flush and did not want the PCB to be seen. It fits tight!
