60-gun frigate Didon (1828) 1/700
Description
Didon was a Dryade-class 60-gun 1st rate frigate of the french navy, launched in 1828. She participated in the invasion of Algiers in 1830, and in the Battle of the Tagus in 1931. She then participated in the Crimean war as a troopship. The model is intended for 1/700 scale, for SLA printers. As usual with my models, I do not represent the masts, as I would rather brass rods to make them However, if you prefer resin masts, the one i did for my Commerce de Marseille ship of the line can be used instead (they might need to be re-scaled)...
