Drumsticks holder for Alesis Nitro Mesh kit (or any 35mm tubing)
Description
This is a drumsticks holder for the Alesis Nitro Mesh electronic drum kit. It would fit on any post that is about 35mm in diameter, and it fits the sticks that come with the kit (I also tried some ProMark Rebound 5B sticks, and they fit as well; most sticks should fit, even slightly fatter ones if you use a flexible filament). I wasn't happy with the alternatives available, as I only wanted to print a single piece, and I wanted to secure it with a nut and bolt, and I wanted it to be simple, and hold just one pair of drumsticks. So, I whipped this design up and printed it out. Print it in TPU or other somewhat flexible filament. I use Eryone TPU, which seems stiff yet flexible, and perfect for this application. You could use PLA or PETG or whatever, but you'll need to put it onto one of the legs by removing it from the rack first; with a flexible filament, you can just pry it and shove it on and then fasten it in place. I used an M3 bolt and nut, I think 25mm long, as well as a washer on each side. Post any makes! I love to see them. (Yes, I need to vacuum my 3D printing / music / office area...)
